Judgment of Final Distribution

A Judgment of Final Distribution is an order from Probate Court issued at the end of the Probate process to officially release an Executor or Administrator from their responsibilities of administering an Estate.

It outlines the final distribution of Assets to Surviving Family, Heirs or other Beneficiaries of a deceased person's estate.

It is typically issued by probate court after all Debts and taxes have been paid, and all assets have been distributed.

It is received after submitting after a Petition of Final Discharge, also known as Ex Parte for Final Discharge and Order.
