What should clients know about your pricing(e.g., discounts, fees, packages)?
We provide a free one hour consultation and then work on an hourly rate, which is discounted when booking 5+ hours of services/package deals. We also provide a sliding scale on a need by need basis.
What is your typical process for working with a new client?
We provide a free one hour consultation, either in our office, at a client's home or an online zoom or phone call, whichever is most comfortable and convenient for our clients.
What are some of the ways you have supported someone at end-of-life?
I have been there sitting vigil, holding space, providing respite for families and also providing companioning such as reading, spa foot soaks, hand massages, aromatherapy, helping to create memorial projects, etc. to provide whatever comforts someone at end of life of their families request.
What advice would you give someone looking to hire an end-of-life doula?
I would say that it is a wonderful way to get as much extra support as you can and an important step in end of life. Take meetings with as many people as you need until you find a good fit and don't be afraid to ask for what you need. Even if you don't know what you need, a doula is there to help guide you and support you in so many ways.
What populations are you best suited to serve?
I am non-denominational and am open to serving people of all backgrounds, especially for those who don't have traditional religious support.
