Marker

A marker is physical monument placed atop or near a Grave to identify who is Buried there.

Markers are typically made of durable materials such as granite, marble, or bronze and may include inscriptions, engravings, or other decorative elements.

They often include the deceased's name, birth and death dates, and sometimes a short message or Epitaph.

Markers can be purchased at a Funeral Home, or a Monument company that specialize in creating and selling headstones, or a local stone mason.

When choosing a marker, it's important to check with the cemetery to see if there are any regulations or restrictions on the size, style, or materials of the headstone.

Also known as a Headstone, Monument, Gravestone, or Tombstone.
