During my 26 years as a nurse I have been able to care for the dying and offer support, comfort and education to them and their loved ones. I have also been the care giver to a family member who chose to die at home. I am now providing these services to my community.

What types of services do you provide?

I will regularly visit you and your caregiver and together we can: Help assemble end of life documents Create a vigil plan for you and your family that allows you to express what you would want your final days to look like Initiate vigil plan including set up of vigil area Offer education and support to help make informed decisions regarding your care and assist you and your loved ones to manage a progressive disease process Gather information and find resources Provide a safe place to explore feelings, share in the uniqueness of your life’s journey Legacy Project ideas and assist with completion Tie up loose ends/bucket list items Develop an after-death plan to ease the burden on grieving loved ones Deliver special notes or keepsakes after your death If you have needs that are not listed here, please reach out

What should clients know about your pricing(e.g., discounts, fees, packages)?

Fees are listed on Website. I will work with you and your loved ones to develop a package that fits your needs. I do work on a sliding scale with a preset amount of hours a year.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

I meet with you and your loved ones to ensure that we are a good fit and I can provide you the services you need.

What are some of the ways you have supported someone at end-of-life?

I have supported many individuals at the end of life by being a supportive presence and providing guidance and education as needed. My support is for the dying and their circle of loved ones.

What advice would you give someone looking to hire an end-of-life doula?

Be specific on what your needs are this allows a doula to ensure they can meet them. You must feel comfortable talking with them and they need to be a good fit for you personally.

What questions should clients think through before talking to doulas?

What do I need? What does my family/loved ones need? What are qualities I think someone must possess to meet my needs?

Do you offer any physical modalities or specialty training?

I have been a nurse for over 25 years and I have trained with INELDA.

Do you offer any other services beyond end-of-life doula support (e.g. advanced care planning, paralegal, legacy services, chaplaincy services)?

I can help you develop an end of life plan regardless of your health status, including advanced directives. I will work in a non-clinical role to assist with tasks that you need addressed. I can conduct a life review and help create a special legacy project. I can provide respite care so care givers can get some much-needed rest. I can help plan and execute a "goodbye party".

Do you work as part of a collaborative or independently?

I am working independently at this time.

Are you willing to work remotely?

I am willing to work remotely if I feel I can meet your needs in this manner.
