It was very helpful and comforting to have someone with not only medical knowledge, but also compassion and a supportive nature, by the bedside with my dad when decisions had to be made for end of life care and my sister and I couldn't be there. Susan was able to provide clear and accurate reports from the medical staff over the phone that aided our decision-making process and helped make it easier not being able to be at the bedside. She helped coordinate all the necessary processes of bringing dad home on Hospice, per his wishes. Once we got dad home, Susan developed a schedule for medications and care that allowed adequate time for rest and time for family and friends to spend with dad, make sure he was surrounded by things and people he loved. When my sister and I had to go back home we both felt very comfortable with dad's care being left in Susan's hands. I do not know how my sister and I would have been able to handle our father’s end of life without the help of Susan.

Susan provided support for my mom and family after my father’s death. It was a huge help to be able to have someone that could help us in our grief coordinate with the funeral home, cemetery and listen without judgment. I don’t know how we would have gotten through those days without her support.
