I genuinely care about giving people a dignified death. I think everyone deserves to be comfortable, cared for and seen in the end of their lives. I provide care and support for people as well as for pets. I’m a grief support doula, a death educator, a green funeral advocate, and overall compassionate human. I want to provide space for you to show up as you are. I want to be there for you. I am open to helping adults and families of end of life adults. I don’t have a preference for religion or mind differing views/beliefs from my own. Open to companioning with those without family or support, those who need help planning end of life care and decisions, and after care planning.

What types of services do you provide?

End of life care and support, dementia care, companioning, end of life planning, Swedish death cleaning, grief support, legacy planning, resource sharing, comfort care, etc.

What should clients know about your pricing(e.g., discounts, fees, packages)?

I can either charge full fee upfront, half payment upfront, or payment plans for those who need it. I offer discounts for referrals, discounts for families and persons who need it, and services can be offered ala cart if full packages are not needed. Consultations are always free.

What is your typical process for working with a new client?

Consultation to determine if we are a good match. I want whomever hires me to feel happy with their decision. It’s so important to me as I’m sure it is to them.

What are some of the ways you have supported someone at end-of-life?

I took care of both of my grandmothers at the end of their lives. That was my introduction. I learned early on that the best way you can support someone at the end of their life is to just be present, and offer a calming presence as well as a pleasant environment.

What advice would you give someone looking to hire an end-of-life doula?

Take some of the pressure off of yourself to be present or resting at the end of your life. Hiring a death doula helps the dying express their needs and ask questions in a safe space, especially if their loved ones are having a hard time talking about it. Find someone who makes you feel supported.

What questions should clients think through before talking to doulas?

Let the process happen naturally. Ask whatever you need to. No need to plan for the introduction. You are doing so much work already.

Do you work as part of a collaborative or independently?

Independently.

Are you willing to work remotely?

Absolutely.
