Mausoleum

A mausoleum is a freestanding building, typically constructed of stone, designed to hold the remains of deceased individuals.

It is an above-ground Interment and may contain a number of compartments or Vaults for Caskets or Urns.

Mausoleums can be found in both public and private cemeteries and are often used by families or individuals who prefer above-ground Burial to traditional in-ground.

Some mausoleums may also include features like stained glass windows, decorative carvings, religious symbols, or other ornate architectural elements.
